If an accident has occurred or you need help in filing an insurance claim we are very sorry this has happened to you and are here to help.

If you have an insurance policy, the insurance company we sold you a policy from should have sent you information about what to do during an accident and how to contact them to file a claim, but if you do not have that information or can’t easily find it, here is a list of steps to take to help you file a claim after an accident:

Safety First

Make sure that if anyone is injured, they get medical attention as soon as possible and if necessary, call the appropriate emergency services (ambulance, fire, police) and move to a safe location.

Gather Information

If you can safely gather information, you should collect as much as you reasonably can.  Videos, pictures, or even just writing down information such as date, time, location, people involved, description of the damage, and any info you have about the cause of the accident can be very helpful when filing an insurance claim with your insurance provider.

Contact your Insurance Provider

When you can safely contact your insurance provider you should call the number they provided you with to make a claim.  It is likely on the back of any insurance card they sent you, in an email from your insurance provider, on the website of your insurance provider, or on your policy documents.  If you can’t easily find it, you can call us and we will help connect you with staff from your insurance provider.
